New Delhi | Gold prices on Friday rose Rs 153 to Rs 46,516 per 10 gram in the futures trade, as speculators created fresh positions amid firming spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for the October delivery traded higher by Rs 153, or 0.33 per cent, to Rs 46,516 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 13,127 lots. Fresh positions built up by participants led to the rise in gold prices, analysts said. Gold prices traded 0.39 per cent higher at USD 1,758.70 per ounce in New York.
