Bhopal | After the urban body elections in Madhya Pradesh, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has now started preparations for the 2023 assembly elections in the state. In view of the performance in the civic elections of the Congress, the Sangh has started preparations for the deployment of hard Hindutva and service organizations on the front this time.
In this, the focus is especially on the seats with the influence of Congress. There are plans to send groups of RSS pracharaks and vistaraks to these areas. The people of the Sangh will create an atmosphere in favour of the BJP and will also give feedback on the current situation of the party in the region. Apart from this, in the districts where there is more factionalism among the leaders or those who are in the mood to rebel, they will try to reach them.
In view of the mission 2023, RSS has recently reorganized its network afresh and made Lahar the new district of RSS in Madhya Bharat province and appointed district pracharak. Apart from this, in about one and a half to two dozen districts, a new division of work has also been done among the pracharaks. Most of the districts that have been focused in the initial phase are under the Gwalior Chambal division area. The Congress did well here in the last elections. In these districts, the Sangh has gathered fresh campaigners.
In the 2023 elections, the BJP is once again preparing to play the hardcore Hindutva card. During the Covid period, the service organisations of the Sangh went from village to village and provided ration and medicine facilities to the people. Since then, they have created a positive image in the society. In 2018, the BJP had a loss of seats in some areas. Keeping this in mind, the Sangh has started catching up on the weak seats.
The areas on which the Sangh is planning to focus in Mission 2023 include Morena, Gwalior, Vidisha, Guna, Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Sheopur, Lehar, Bhind, Pipariya, Dabra, Bhojpur, Ganjbasoda, Damoh, Betul, Sehore, Raisen, Shivpuri, and Raghogarh.
The Sangh has indicated its hard-line Hindutva Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and allied organisations engaged in service work to be in the front for this job. Along with increasing the activities of the Sangh, new shakhas will also be started.
