Brain-dead patient gives new life to five people

Indore | Organs of brain-dead Anmol Jain of Sohagpur will give a new life to five people. His liver will be transplanted to a patient at Choithram Hospital here. The heart has gone for transplant to Ahmedabad and kidney will go to a person from Bhopal. Other organs are for patients in Hyderabad.
For this, three green corridors were made for the first time in Bhopal. The liver was delivered to the hospital here in about two hours, making use of a corridor after six months.
The 23-year-old Anmol’s were sent out in the presence of top police officials at 9 am on Monday.
Anmol met with an accident on September. He was admitted to a private hospital in Bhopal where he was declared brain dead. Anmol's brother Gaurav Jain said the family decided that it would be better if someone got a new life. The Bhopal hospital management completed the donation process after contacting the organ transplant committee.
